lace fence.

I don’t know much about this lace fence, other than it’s a fence that looks lacy. And although I realize that by making such a painfully obvious statement I’m simultaneously shattering my dream of becoming a private investigator in the near future, I don’t care.

Besides, I always wanted to be an astronaut.

  • this is AMAZING. i love it.

  • that’s a pretty amazing fence – i really love it! and, gumshoes and astronauts are kind of similar – they sit down a lot while looking for new things in places they really shouldn’t. kind of like someone i know ;).

  • could you imagine if all fences looked like that? It would be amazing!

  • That’s beautiful… and don’t worry; now we can call you Captain Obvious. :)

  • oh my goodness this fence is amazing! i think i’m in love. swoon, swoon, swoon.

  • I love it. I’ve got a cyclone wire fence – I’d love to have a go at that!

  • HA, you can definitely call me Captain Obvious. ;)

And yes, if all fences looked like that, the world would be a much lovelier place.

  • this never fails to impress. i love it. it makes the chain link less cold looking.

  • hmm, this piece seems to be saying something about barriers to me. you’ve shared another thought provoking piece.

  • That’s so pretty — I love it when there is something so dainty and beautiful in the middle of something so cold and industrial. Very cool. :)

  • I wish all fences looked like this..although i’d probably never get to wherever I was trying to go.

  • Ok, I feel redundant saying it, but “Wow! This is awesome!” Is it really wire though? Because it sure looks lacy!

  • Its by Demakersvan. Isnt it beautiful. They have made other such lace inspired installations. The recent one they are working for is for a public space and huge metal laces are being made in their workshop in India. To see more take a look at Wall Paper mag of a few months ago
