day 14: we like sheep.

We Like Sheep is the name of a play I was in as a teeny little one. I was the littlest sheep that got lost, and Jesus (played by my uncle in rags) came to find me. It was all very… odd, really.

Anyway. Because I’m wearing my favorite sheep sweater, I thought it time to introduce you to my second favorite sheep: George. He’s technically a dog, yes, but I think he’s part sheep. He certainly looks like one in the right light.

Also, Happy Thanksgiving! This skirt is fully elastic in the waist, so I plan to indulge in a serious way.

Enjoy your family/friends/lovers. I’m thankful for each and every one of you. Or shall I say… ewe?

Above is an outfit for the30/30/30 challenge, which you can read about right here. You’ll find my outfit photos in this space, along with my experiences in living with less over at ReadyMade Magazine every Thursday. Enjoy!

  • confession time: i’m pretty sure i was in the same play when i was little! i definitely remember being dressed as a ewe and singing this: “we like sheep, we like sheep, we like sheep ’cause sheep is what we are…” sound familiar? good times. and yes, definitely odd times as well.

  • Gorgeous girl + adorable canine = Happy (belated) Thanksgiving.
P.S. Shoulda read this yesterday; coulda used that elastic skirt advice.

  • Was definitely in that play in the first grade! It was an all school production at my catholic grade school, and I can still sing that song!

@katie larsen, we snapped in ours too, we like sheep snap snap!

  • I love your sheep sweater. I’ve been looking for the perfect animal sweater forever (because I have such dorky tendencies) — this is totally inspiring! You whole look is so cute!
