What’s uncool about crumpets? So far as I know, there’s no other word for them, and they’re delicious. Especially hot with butter and jam.

oh nothing’s wrong w/ the word — it’s awesome. i just like to call everything ‘crumpets’, even when they’re not. :) sandwich? crumpet. cookie? crumpet. chicken? crumpet. :)
I’m not sure I’d be able to serve anything on my spoon tray. I might be content just to sit around admiring its cuteness all day.
