color of the week: mint green.

    05.23.2011 / ART + DESIGN, Favorites, Style

Mint green was my favorite color as a kid, and I still love how it feels both retro and modern at the same time. Here are a few of my favorite mint green picks, from radios to rompers!:

    1. Petiole Romper ($250) at Steven Alan
    2. Latte Bowls ($20) at Anthropologie
    3. Not Too Coy Mint Green Wedges ($62) at Zappos
    4. Roberts Revival Mint Radio (£144) at Dixon’s
    5. Simple 7 Mint Green Beach Cruiser ($300) at Giant
    6. Areaware Pig Bank ($95) at Matthew Izzo
    7. Mint Green Metal Canisters ($17 – $30) at Pier1 Imports
    8. Recycled Glass Wine Bottle Vase ($7 – $12) at West Elm

    • ok, I completely fell down of happiness. Mint + Bikes = <3 You always choose the best items to showcase!

    • oh, thank you! would you believe i have a mint bike? it is by FAR my favorite thing in the world. :)

    • This is 100% my favorite color, I collect vintage jadeite so those pier 1 canisters would look SO perfect in my kitchen!

    • Fun! I love that it’s really MINT green, not the sea foam green I’ve been seeing everywhere lately. Very fresh!

    • i love this color! and the finds are great, too. :)

    • yes yes yes! while i do love a good seafoam, i had to stay true to the retro minty. :)

    • and omg i love vintage jadeite! eek!

    • How can you go wrong with green? It’s an awesome color in almost any shade. So fresh!

    • agreed!!! :)
