When I first spotted this series, I was sure it was photoshopped. Instead, artist Rebekka Gudleifsdottir spent nearly an entire summer experimenting, baking and cooking up massively-sized portions of food for a photographic series about excess in today’s society…
The glasses are large vases from IKEA, and her talented metalsmith brother created the utensils. My favorite touch? The ice cubes in the giant glass of soda, which were made by freezing water in large yogurt containers.
