Oh man; I love love love when readers send in links to awesome places I haven’t yet seen. Hat tip to Megan for introducing me to Petit Pan, which is basically a shop for everything your littles need after 6pm: bedding, bath time robes, kimonos, booties and sleep sacks. How great are these patterns? (I’m eyeing those turquoise booties for Bee!)

p.s. Speaking of sleep sacks, I just discovered them! We swaddled Bee in the Miracle Blanket (which I couldn’t love more), but she started breaking free like a bat on a mission once she turned 3 months old. We picked up this sleep sack a few nights ago and she’s back to sleeping 11 hours straight! I’m going to buy her a pony.

    • yeah! one of my favorite brand!

Fantastic! Love everything about your blogs! And little Bee is absolutely beautiful. She slept for 11 hours straight in the Aden and Anais sleep sack?! Is there anything else you have done to help her sleep so long? I have a little man a few weeks younger than Bee and he is waking up every 2 to 3 hours! I feel like a walking zombie. Any tips would be much appreciated!!

      • Hi Melissa!

Oh goodness; you poor thing! You know, I’m going to work on a post about this. It could be total dumb luck, but we’ve tried a number of things and have found it’s all in the combination (for Bee, at least!). Look for a post in a few days! :)

Thanks Erin! Can’t wait to hear your ideas! XO

    • […] yesterday, I came across a blog post on Design for Minikind which almost made me shed a tear of nostalgia. Petit Pan, the shop Erin wrote about, was the one […]

Melissa, I actually have a 21-week-old and he’s been doing 10-11 hours a night since he was about 9 weeks – we actually use the miracle blanket for naps, and then at night, we use the Summer Infant SwaddleMe (we have this one: http://www.amazon.com/Swaddleme-Blanket-Organic-Cotton-Large/dp/B004YWF39S/ref=sr_1_10?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1352401697&sr=1-10&keywords=summer+infant+swaddleme+organic+cotton) and do a really lightweight swaddle underneath it – just a regular swaddle-type blanket (they double-swaddled him at the hospital and ever since he’s loved being double wrapped), and he can’t break out of that, mostly because of the double wrap. Just another option that might be worth trying…

Erin, we have a few of the Aden + Anais sacks you mentioned, but I’m so nervous to try because he loves being really tightly swaddled. So for now they’ll continue to live in his closet :)

      • @Megan – We were worried about the same because Bee loves a tight swaddle as well. So far it’s worked like a charm (fingers crossed it stays that way!)! :)

Good to know! Maybe we’ll give it a try here soon…

I may or may not already own the turquoise booties for little ones that are still years down the road ;) Just too cute to resist!
