Bee’s Everyday Basics

I’m often asked on Instagram where I shop for Bee, and truth be told, it’s much less under-whelming than you’d imagine. I’m a garage sale devotee in the summer and find myself picking up cute vintage pieces for a quarter here and there, plus Bee’s lucky enough to have a slew of talented artists and designers in her life that keep her well-stocked in the fanciful department.

But when Bee’s limbs start to sprout and suddenly her leggings have become shorts, I always find myself grabbing last-minute, everyday basics from Old Navy. And today, I thought it might be fun to share what’s in our shopping cart! (Hint: Everything is on sale!):

1. Railroad Stripe Romper ($13)
2. Gingham Sun Hat ($8)
3. Striped Terry Tunic ($10)
4. Sleeveless Peplum Tank ($10)
5. Printed Jersey Dress ($9)
6. Railroad Denim Shorts ($13)
7. Cuffed Boyfriend Jeans ($16)
8. Cuffed Skinny Bermuda Shorts ($13)
9. Canvas Espadrilles ($10)

I prefer to hop online because the sizing is so perfectly spot on for Bee, and also because I’ve never been much of a shopping fan (especially with a boisterous toddler). BUT – if you’re a shopping fan and happen to live in New York, you MUST head to the NYC Flagship Store on May 10th (12-4pm) for a Kids Carnival! There will be games, face-painting, balloon animals, cotton candy and much, much more. Now that’s something I can get behind. Happy carnival-ing!

This post is a partnership with Old Navy, but all opinions are mine.

  • I was shopping at Old Navy just this week (in store and online, eep!) and they have the CUTEST toddler gear. Once I cull Forrest’s current wardrobe I’ll be heading there for updates. = )

  • …and no pink in sight. Love it. We’re expecting our second and have just found out she’s a girl. Panicking already about the pink explosion that I feared was inevitable. This is a lovely selection and is quite inspiring.
