London-based artist Roger Hiorns created a crystal “wallpaper” by pumping copper sulphate solution into an abandoned flat, then leaving it to grow for months as the temperature dropped. The result? A hypnotizing floor-to-ceiling art installation that both chemists and art-lovers can appreciate in full.
Amazing!

ahh the amazingness of this!!! it slays me!
I saw this, it was brilliant, an amazing experience to be in the flat surrounded by the crystals.
Crikey in a pocketbook. I think sparkles all around would be seriously inspiring.
We went to this too. It was amazing! Not just the crystals but the old abandoned set of flats were actually pretty cool. The whole thing was rad and a bit voyeuristic. You walked into the abandoned apartment of someone you didn’t know. Went into their bathroom to but gumboots on an then went next door to the blue crystal flat. I miss London!
wow! my new love cobalt color. intense!
