Hernan paints trees. And photographs them. Cool, right? Right.
Happy weekend, folks!

First, I though the link to the Web site said, “PULOVERPONCHO.” My eyes read things in a strange way, often.
Second, I love it! I think the trees enjoy being painted!
Third…Happy Friday!
Very, very cool. It reminds me of the happy colorfulness that Katie from the recent “Dailies” brings into the world. A tree’s not bad on its own, but add some stripes of color and you have something even more special. :)
Very cool. This would not be as cool if it wasn’t executed so well.
i agree with samantha…
the coolness lies in the execution…
what a simple and unique little concept though…
Ok, this is cool, but somehow it steals an idea from Spanish artist Agustin Ibarrola who in the 1980s painted on the trees of a whole forest near the town of Guernica. The forest has remained and maintained ever since, and it’s called the Forest of Oma.
Here’s a link, but I’m sure you could google some photographs as well:

reminds me of totem poles. i like it and hope the tree does, too!
It’s fun I suppose, but does the paint affect the health of the tree in anyway?
interesting point! i think the tree probably loves it. ;)
This is so cool, I never thought of this painting tress. It will make the entire neighborhood very colorful.
That’s how these axe’s are made. http://www.bestmadeco.com/

h,_.
he doesnt paint trees. if you take some time and see the whole project you would see it is a branch fallen from a tree in a pile of soil he carefully constructed.
i love it.
yes — agreed. do look at the whole project, but my favorite part is definitely the tree! :)
