Formed using rigid polyurethane foam and plywood, Scott Hove’s “Cakeland” installations are constructed of cardboard, plywood, and any found object that has a suitable form. They are frosted with a variety of acrylic media, using traditional cake decorating tools, and accessorized with fake fruit and other objects found in stores or on the street.
In other words, it’s a giant tease. A creepy (but awesome) tease.

A giant tease… with giant teeth. I love these, but they scare me. It’s like putting icing on a bear trap; you want to touch it, but it could realistically take your whole hand off. :)
