I feel like I’ve spent my entire week hanging ridiculous shingles onto the front of my house, but I suppose it will be worth it all in the end, yes? When my home is beautiful? Say it will be so?
Anyway, I don’t get to partake in a weekend just yet, because we’re only halfway finished with the project. BUT, that doesn’t mean I can’t celebrate in my head, right? In my dreams, I’ll spend my lovely August weekend building a makeshift skateboard for Jeff’s new project, perhaps out of fruit like this cheeky banana boat? Of course, I’ll need a new look if I’m going to be a skater girl, and this LINK scarf and lamp glass necklace are just the ticket. Oh! And then I’ll just have to move to San Francisco (because they love skateboards there?) and visit Scotty’s show at Curiosity Shoppe. Or maybe I’ll try out Houston for Will’s exhibition at Domy.
After I become an international jet-setter, maybe I can learn a thing or two about craft, art and beauty from Kate’s interview with Esther Ramirez. And duh, I’ll need a world map tattoo to showcase my travels.
Or, you know. I’ll just keep siding.
p.s. My birthday is NEXT week. Who wants to gift me fun things?
I love that tattoo. Not even joking!
(side note: I always forget your birthday is so close to mine…and we’re the same age if i remember that as well. Mine’s Sunday!!)
