A few months ago, the amazing stylist duo behind Twenty Thirty Forty (and newly launched Kit This!) traveled from Chicago to my home to style me for an insanely inspiring afternoon. Who doesn’t love playing dress up with the curators behind such an amazing boutique? Luckily, the amazing Nathan Michael was there to document the fun! Here are a few of my favorite outtakes…
George is a born model, so he had a hard time not showing off his skills in our living room. By the way, this palm tree print jumpsuit was a serious favorite. Who knew a silk jumpsuit could highlight a pregnant belly in such a fun way?
Brandon and Arlene paired the jumpsuit with a blazer from my own closet and I was immediately in love. I could have worn this for days!
Here’s more of George being George – totally snuggly and perfectly dopey.
Favorite outfit number two? Lace leggings paired with a sweatshirt tee and royal blue turban. My goodness, I never would’ve put this together (who knew lace leggings would become the most versatile item in my closet?!), but I paraded in that crazy comfortable outfit like I’d just won the lottery.
I’m still having dreams about that ensemble. (Come back to me, royal blue turban!)
Brandon and Arlene also taught me how to style a floral blazer I’d been having trouble with for a few months. It’s pastel, so I was tempted to only wear it in the spring, but when paired with an edgy rocker tee and bright turquoise pants, it suddenly became vibrant but surprisingly neutral. Seriously, stylists are such smart people.
Thanks for coming to my home, Twenty Thirty Forty, and thanks even more for making me feel beautiful despite the burgeoning third trimester belly I was sporting!
hey. i recognize that floral blazer. looking good lady!
Thanks, Jill! ;)
Dress up, huh? How fun! I really like the edginess the bold tee gives the otherwise girly blazer. Genius. Do you think those guys would want to come by and style me for a day? I could use a stylist too. ;)
ha – they’re DEFINITELY the best in town! such a fun day! :)
What fun!
You look amazing!

Erin you look adorable in all of these! Maternity style has really changed in recent years for the better. Also I want that blue turban. And I don’t have to be pregnant to wear it, right?
hahaha not at all, jacqueline! :)
Stylists are amazing and so are you! :) What darling clothes and your bump is darling!!!
Love the blazer – where did you find it? I’m having second trimester shopping blues and need inspiration.
hi kate!
