Oh man, this piece above? I want this hanging in every room of my house, just to remind me to wear a lampshade once in a decade. (Preferably a lampshade with such awesome threading.)
But then I’d want this piece in every room. Because duh. Geometrics and monochromatic awesomeness all in the same batch of fresh-baked art.
Anyway, Maria Aparicio Puentes sews onto other people’s photographs.
She’s thought about sewing on top of her own photos, but I feel like that might be like sewing your own clothes? Not as fun, perhaps? No one wants to fix the hole in their own sock.
