A good friend just recently (five minutes ago to be exact!) introduced me to Tori Higa’s work, and I am SMITTEN. A former graphic and textile designer, Tori had an innate desire to do something creative for the rest of her life. When cleaning out her grandmother’s sewing room, she stumbled upon a plethora of fabric from 1960’s. Not being able to sew, she began incorporating the fabric into her handmade cards, and poof– a star was born.
Not a fan of vintage fabric (shame on you!)? No worries; Tori has a spectacular line of cards that feature her own illustrations, no fabric included.
