I always get dressed up when I have a hair appointment, because I go to the cheapest place in the world where my hair cut is $7 and they love to style it as if I’m a Brady relative. And as if Brady hair isn’t bad enough, sweat pants just add insult to injury.
Anyway, here’s what I wore!:
I picked out this dress on sale at Lulu’s* and although it requires a full-length slip (it’s VERY unlined), I felt instantly glamorous and insanely comfy (pockets! yes!). The headscarf is a vintage tie dye ikat design and I decorated myself with lots and lots of jewels + a camel clutch. Win!
hee hee- that’s great rationalization!
tres chic…reminding me a bit of grey garden…in a good way
you are CUTER than words.
So cute! You pull this off extraordinarily well.
$7 haircut? Shoot! I feel like a big spender now, I spend $12!
aww i actually ASK for my hair to be styled a la Brady! ;) you’re looking tres chic though!
This is such a great outfit! I love that dress. I’d love a nice long dress for these days that are still a bit too cold to be showing much calf. Also, I adore the okay scarf. I’m on the hunt for a really great ikat wallet.
My my, you look like a 1950’s movie star! On her way to her summer cottage, perhaps?
what is that fabric? I almost thought it was tweed, but im also on my cellphone. Im diggin the shades. Also like the photo effect, it compliments your vintage look. Tre bien my friend!
thanks so much! it does look tweed, doesn’t it?! :)
SO cute! i’d gladly cut your hair (not that i know how) if you showed up like that!
You totally ROCK that dress! (Looks even better on you than on the model at the Lulu’s site.) Love the glasses + scarf, too. Thinking I need to step up my game for my next haircut…
love.
I have that same dress! so cute. :)
OH I WANT TO SEE!
