YES! I looove it! Makes me think about a group of Hungarian artists who started painting all the old chewinggums on the street outside a cinema – in pink! You sure noticed the chewinggums after that! Unfortunately I do not have neither name nor link for that project…
I did a little lego working todat as well for my interpretations for the scavenger project (it’s in the flickr group if you’re curious)
that is so neat!
nice!!!
I saw a project once where knitters took loose bricks from old buildings covered them and then replaced them…
Here’s the link:
I bet kids love seeing them too! That’s a beautiful idea.
Oooh, Jimena– great link, dear!
Good gravy, this is fabulous. I love the little shots of color peaking out…you’d definitely have to look twice. It reminds me of a group (I read about this somewhere) of rogue crochet aficionados who went around crocheting lamp posts and what not as their personal form of graffiti.
wow, i love this, it is such I good idea and really wish i’d thought of it first! thank you for sharing
Very, very cool.
Wouldn’t it be fun if everything could be patched with legos? Like colorful duct tape.
Ohhhh it soooooooo would. I looooove colorful duct tape!
This is so fantastically ridiculously cool!! Have you been to Legoland? I think I’m the only person over 8 that’s obsessed with it ;)
It’s so beautiful i could cry.
love this. there are some areas in my neighborhood that could use some patching:)
Ha, me too, Jennifer. ;)
Italy needs a whole lot of Lego! Urban decay has never been so much fun. Love the knit bricks too, kind of makes me want to hug them. Hmm.
How cool is this? I wonder if they last long…
