When we visited London last year, I fell hard for the cafe tumblers in my favorite bistro. (No one ever accused me of overlooking insignificant details.) Substantial, shatterproof but totally lightweight – mine was filled to the brim with iced coffee, but I couldn’t help noticing they’d be the perfect glass for kids.
I’ve been keeping an eye out for something similar ever since, and of course they were right under my nose all along. Found at Unison Home, these medium-sized replicas are made with handmade borosilicate glass – strong enough to withstand spilled milk, pretty enough to serve all else. Bonus? They’re dishwasher safe.
