Ken’s the official gardener in these parts, mostly because I can’t be trusted with so much strategy (marigolds next to the tomatoes, they say, but keep broccoli far from the basil, and certainly no cucumber near the rosemary, and just like that, my head and gardening spade are spinning into oblivion). The other reason? Our ancient hose weighs more than a small house.
Last week, I surprised Ken with a new lightweight hose so I can finally pull my herb-and-veggie weight around here. It’s super flexible, durable and totally kink-averse, not to mention I can wield it faster than you can say “Mind the mint!”
With stronger tools on deck, I’m back in the game. Now to find that stealthy chipmunk that keeps stealing our strawberries…
To Buy: Gilmour Flexogen Super Duty Hose ($19.99-$54.99)
P.S. This post was written for Gilmour. As always, all opinions are my own.
