I used to want to be a zookeeper growing up, until I realized that zookeepers had to keep the zoo and not pet it. Naturally, my fascination with animals has stuck with me and I’m thrilled to introduce a fun new series around here: Animal Instincts. Today, I’m rounding up products that are inspired by elephants — not necessarily directly, but if you squint your eyes and look to the left a bit, you might see what I mean…

[a]. Lounge Watering Can ($98) at MoMA / via Apartment Therapy
[b]. Rick Owens Blister Washed Leather Jacket ($2285) at Net-a-Porter
[c]. “Burnt” by Troy Moth ($20) at Mammoth Collection
[d]. Marble Top Coffee Table ($299) at CB2
[e]. Thomas Paul Elephant Pillow ($120) at All Modern
[f]. Cinch We Met Belt ($18) at ModCloth
[g]. Ivory Bangles ($35) at Lord & Taylor
[h]. Elephant Bust ($128) at Anthropologie
[i]. Acne Hydro Suede Wedge Boots ($720) at Net-a-Porter
