Whoa — that’s one great chair! Maybe some welting in charcoal to further define the contours of the upholstered part (an outline of the forms, basically)? Regardless, love to see mod (color) with vintage (chair shape, tufting) — a happy marriage.

I LOVE that the nail-heads are being painted! We work with nail-heads on a lot of our furniture and so many people are hesitant to move away from the typical finishes. This is the perfect example of why it pays to take some risk with color! Thanks for sharing a great piece!
