You guys. I am crazy excited to introduce my finished sunroom to you! Ken and I (OK, mostly Ken) have been renovating this space for six months now and I’m crazy thrilled with the result. You won’t believe how many naps I’ve taken on that couch (14, to be exact. Believe it.) I’ll have a video tour up for you shortly on my HGTV.com column, but for now – enjoy a sneak peek with just a few photos to get you excited:

You remember the before, yes? (I’m so embarrassed to show you that video, by the way, as that room was super, super gross.) After tearing down the walls, replacing studs, adding beams, insulation, drywall and bright white paint (of course!), the room is barely recognizable. And we LOVE it!

I’ve sourced everything underneath the corresponding photos, but wanted to also say a HUGE thank you to a few amazing sponsors: West Elm, Rugs USA and Andersen Windows (we installed 100 Series windows and they are gorgeous). Our sunroom wouldn’t have been half as perfect without your help, friends!

Thanks for joining us on this wild renovation ride, friends! I don’t know how much renovating we’ll do when the little one arrives, so we’re soaking up every moment of this final project. A huge thanks to our HGTV.com readers for following along as we document every step of the way!
EDIT: The video tour is up on HGTV.com – you simply MUST go check it out to see the entire room! Enjoy!

Just amazing, I’m getting so much inspiration for my own coming decorating projects. I love all the neutrals and that creativity with the bench seating. Sometimes the things we dream of most, we can design and make ourselves. Lovely!

thank you so much!
beautiful Erin & Ken! I love it!
thank you so much! :)
Just beautiful!! I found you via pinterest! I have a question, my husband & I have been contemplating purchasing the west elm bliss sofa for our living room. Since west elm doesn’t have reviews I was wondering if you could give me your thoughts on comfort, durability for toddlers, and how you feel about the linen blend fabric? I would be ordering it off-line otherwise I would just check it out in stores myself. Thank you in advance!
We are also remodeling our home and have just completed 2 bedrooms, mud room, living room, dining room, and 3 closets! We are working on a bathroom currently. It’s a lot of work but the pay off is well worth it!
hi alicia:
i think it’s PERFECT for toddlers – crazy durable but still really comfortable. we’ve only had ours for a few months, but it’s definitely the most comfy sofa we’ve owned, and the color/texture is perfect for camouflaging spills and other toddler mishaps. ;) highly recommend!
Hi,
Just about to order the bliss sofa, what size did you end up getting- the 80 in or 90?
Thanks and happy labor day!
Sarah
How has the bliss sofa been holding up?? Thanks!:)
INCREDIBLY well. We love it so much, and it’s the perfectly mess-proof with the darker color and texture. Highly recommend!
Just stumbled on your site while looking for inspiration for my sunroom. Love that bright white, what is the exact paint color?
Thank you and great site!
Thank you – it’s Architectural White from Olympic Paints. :)
Hi! Lovely space!! How is the west elm sofa holding up? I’m looing at buying this so for my living room. Can’t find any reviews on it, that can be good or bad. What is the condition of the cushions over time? do they flatten?
