makeKIND 12.

Hello summer! Inspired by the kick-off of warm weather season, I’m stencil printing party invitations for that poolside gathering we all hope to attend. The invitations are bright and easy to make using alphabet stencils; simply download template art for the front side and stencil fun phrases on the flip side!…

MATERIALS //  invitation template, card stock (8.5” x 11”), utility knife, ruler, cutting mat, colored pencils, 1″ alphabet stencils, acrylic paint (I used Martha Stewart Multi-Surface Satin in shades surf and pond), stencil sponge

STEPS // 01 PRINT ART  Download and print desired number of invitations onto card stock (click here to download template) and cut out. Write out party specifics using a bright colored pencil.

02 // STENCIL PHRASES  On the flip side, stencil fun swim inspired phrases like ‘‘dive in”, “jump” or “splish splash.” Once dry, enclose cards in colorful A-7 envelopes and mail to your special guests!

P.S. I think this technique could easily be used for any type of social gathering. Simply select paint and paper to match your theme!
