So, I know this house thing isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I appreciate you following me anyhow! Because my taste changes so, so often, I’ll be sharing my latest wish list for the home each Wednesday. If you tune in for awhile, you’ll probably get almost as frustrated as I do to see that my style has no rhyme or reason, and rarely matches. ;)
Anyway, here’s what I love this week!:

Lovely. I’m re-decorating my hearth with the above finds (in my head, of course) as I type this!
Check back tomorrow for news on a new sponsor for my tiny renovation. I’m so thrilled to share it with you!
I love, love those boucle wire baskets!
Hi Erin, allison from letter m and a flea circus, again. just had to say, not that we’re any experts, but my husband i feel that the only rule to design is pulling together what you love. if you love it, will will come. no, i mean, if you love it, it will work together somehow. the common thread is not the style or period of the piece, but you. you are the common thread, and when you put all the stuff that sinks your sub all around you, somehow, it magically become perfect. perfectly you. and the best part is that no one else can copy it! And matchy-matchy? No. Even fashion stylists tell you handbags, shoes and belts don’t have to “match” anymore! Have fun!
and p.s. even though every thing we’ve done in our home has been on a budget of about 75 bucks, we LOVE it. because we’ve followed the above precept. and people always respond warmly when they come over, which is always how you want your guests to feel.
i totally agree! i mean, i think as long as you love each piece, it will fit. as long as you’re ok w/ quirk, it works! :)
hey, now that’s a good line…quirk works!
i agree with you and allison. buy what you love because it’s true that the common thread will always be you – not you erin, you know what i mean ;). i like that light and could use it right now!
LOVE that little campaign stool.
thank you, guys!
