For posterity, is all:
Dear God,
It’s me! Thank you for a wonderful day. Actually (Mom, can I say actually? – Yes, you can say actually), OK, actually, thank you for hedgehogs, too. I think they are just so funny when they sneeze.
Please help me to sleep good. Thank you for my hair and my knees and actually for stickers.
The end.
Oops! I mean ‘Amen.’
The end.
Oops! I said it again!
I’m actually going to just start over…
Sweeping brushstrokes of language in colorful shades of self. My children have all but outgrown this stage, but the phrases linger, lovingly, in our exchanges.
big hugs. :)
This is so adorable! I can’t wait to pray with my sweet Rose. Well, I enjoy praying with her now, but it’ll be awesome to hear her pray herself one day. ;-)
i love the name rose!!!! :) and yes, it’s been such a highlight for me so far, such cute, joyful prayers. a childlike faith indeed, right?
He’s using the potty, I tell him I’ll be right back, he puts his hand on my arm, “Mom, be careful out there.” Okay, sweetie. “I don’t want you to bump into anything and get hurt.” Thanks sweetie, I’ll be careful… = )
HAAAAAA! THAT.IS.AMAZING.
So sweet :)
I will never forget trying to teach our oldest daughter, 2 at the time, to be more thankful in her prayers. We were driving home and heard her little voice break into an impromptu prayer where she proceeded to thank God for making her SOOO beautiful. It was all my husband and I could do not to laugh!
HA, that is the greatest!!! :)
Such sweetness and sincerity. I have to think those are qualities that the Lord loves too. Plus, what’s not to like about hedgehogs!?
right?! they’re rad. :)
oh i love this. sweetest lil prayer!
:)
aww that is the cutest.
:)
i love her just too, too much!
She misses you!
