At least that’s what I call them. You know what I’m talking about: people with animal traits, or animals with people traits. Either/or. Regardless, my husband thinks they’re totally creepy, and I think they’re ridiculously adorable. And it looks like 2008 agrees with my side of the story, b/c the trend is still going strong (for the first four days at least!).
Below are a few of my fave Panimal Artists, and then some. Enjoy, and never forget that humans are just a few chromosomes away from animals, anyway! [Ok, that might not be true. Fact checker?]

What a roundup! I wonder what’s next!? I keep seeing more and more of these out there…at first I thought they were weird and now I really like them.
i adore these kinds of images, and now i know what to call them! thanks for putting all of this together!
Many of these pieces I really like. They all have a little bit similar style :)
I think opinions may largely split down gender lines. My vote is with Ken, with the exception of the man with the unicorn mask. I wish I would have had that for halloween.
LOVE these!! I’m definitely inspired by this trend as well. Also thanks for stopping by the blog a while back and wishing me well on my LA home! happy 2008 ~ I’m really enjoying a visit to your beautiful blog.
