blogger yearbook party!

OMG! THE GANG AT 17

Yes, that’s Jo Walker, from Desire to Inspire. Isn’t she lovely?

As most of you know, this March, we’ll be bidding farewell to my Blogspot site and saying adieu to DesignforMankind.com! I’m oh so excited but have a LOTTA LOTTA work to do, so to mix a little business with pleasure, I’ve been working on a top secret release party.

Now, a virtual party isn’t a virtual party without my fellow bloggers, so I’ve banded together a few of my faves to help me play this one out. I’ll let Jo give you the 411:

Jo writes: “Erin sent me this email and it had me quaking in horror. To honor Design for Mankind’s new look and NEW site to be released next month, she’s hosting a Yearbook Blogger Party. That’s right, a trip down memory lane for the bloggin’ folk! So, regardless of whether you were homecoming queen or the chess club prez, you lucky ducks get to re-live your high school past!

Here’s what she needs from you:
An old high school yearbook photo (can include senior portraits, ‘voted most likely to…’s and anything you don’t find potentially incriminating).
A current portrait photo (can be self portrait, but do your best to make the shot clear and hi-res)
Your vote for Blogging Homecoming Queen and King (among others: class clown, best dressed and most likely to succeed).

She’ll be compiling a yearbook of the greatest ’08 moments to be released in March!”

I’m 18 here but at least I cut my hair! Annie Hall was big OK.

“So OK Erin, here’s a couple of photos from my senior year. We don’t have yearbooks in Australia. They’re old and faded just like I am now but I think it’s rather brave of me to own up to a yellow tracksuit and hair like that. It was 1979. ARGH!!! Yes I admit it I’m 46 this year. The newer photo is not that new, a few years old now. My one and only attempt at selling work at a market. Thank god a shop picked them up straight away. The photo is not that clear but remember it’s rumoured that I’m in the witness protection program. Good luck Erin! I hope others play more fair than I do.”

Ok so got it? Good. Send ’em on over to [email protected] by March 7th. You know you want to, and for goodness sake— Jo said so. ;)
