My number one advice for motherhood?…
Don’t compare yourself or your baby to anyone else and their baby. The transition and sacrifice of motherhood is hard enough without harshly judging yourself and your mothering skills. Most of us are trying our best and giving it our all. That’s all they need and that’s what our focus should be. It doesn’t matter what percentile your little one falls into, or how quickly they take that first step. It does matter how much time you love on them and the choices you make to pause the things that don’t matter, to take advantage of the fleeting moments of simple joy you can have with your child, if you’re looking for them.
