On a walk in the woods, it’s not uncommon to transform. Who do you want to be today? I ask.
A hungry lion on the hunt! she’d roar on a Monday.
An abandoned snow puppy, she’d whimper on a Tuesday.
An explorer searching for unknown treasure! she’d cry on a Wednesday.

Who do you want to be today? I ask.
Just me, she says brightly, and I realize it’s a milestone I haven’t yet reached.
A good thing to be, I tell her.
And also myself.

Sometimes the biggest, most profound messages come in the smallest of packages. “Just me.” Thank you Erin. Your posts tug my heartstrings when needed the most. And please thank Bee for being her Mama’s brilliant daughter. Her pair of words are about as perfect as any ever uttered by a human being.
ahhh i’ll absolutely pass along thanks to her. she’s a wise one indeed! am blessed by her daily. :)

Oh, to be so unspoiled, a whole learner journeying along her own path. A courageous Mom for letting her daughter “just be (Bee) me”.
May God open our hearts to love being me.
